Sara joined Retina Australia as Operations Assistant in April 2026.
She brings extensive experience in administration, data management and continuous improvement, with a particular passion for the not-for-profit sector. Prior to joining Retina Australia, Sara spent ten years with Dementia Australia, progressing from Administration Assistant to Data Analyst. She has also worked with the Australian Red Cross, as well as across the healthcare and government sectors.
Sara has a strong background in using data to improve systems, processes and outcomes for not-for-profit organisations and is currently enjoying the opportunity to broaden her expertise in fundraising, governance and organisational operations.
She is committed to supporting people living with inherited retinal diseases and their families, and is passionate about helping Retina Australia continue to advance research, provide trusted information and support services, and advocate for a future free from inherited blindness.
