Retina Australia is committed to continually ensuring that our website and communications are as accessible as possible to all users, particularly people who have low vision or are living with blindness. Our website has been developed in accordance with best practice and in accordance with the Australian Government standards.
To achieve this, our website has been designed to comply with the World Wide Web Consortium’s (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines Version 2.1 (WCAG), which is an internationally recognised benchmark for measuring the accessibility of websites. The Retina Australia website has been independently rated as AA compliant by the Centre for Accessibility Australia against the 13 WCAG 2.1 guidelines.
Our website also features the UserWay widget which provides additional accessibility enhancements which can customise particular highlights including contrast control, text size, text spacing, line height and saturation levels for example.
We are constantly looking to improve our accessibility and would welcome feedback if you encounter any difficulties. Please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org or (03) 9650 5088.
