Julia Hall brings a unique mix of corporate and not-for-profit sector experience. Qualified as a Chartered Accountant, she spent most of her corporate career in Stockbroking as a Senior Equities Analyst, with time also spent as Vice President in Investment Banking and in Corporate Advisory consulting. Workplaces included KPMG Peat Marwick, BT Securities, ANZ Securities and Deutsche Bank AG.
Julia then made a dedicated move to the non-profit sector, motivated passionately to make a difference in the community. Her roles have included a focus on philanthropic funding in senior management, and as an Executive Director and Board Director at different charitable and non-profit organisations, with a particular interest in medical research over the past 5 years. Experience in the charitable sector has included time at BrainLink Services, MS Research Australia and Friends for Good.
Julia has a Bachelor of Economics degree from The University of Sydney and is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Julia Hall commenced as the inaugural Chief Executive Officer of Retina Australia in October 2022.
