Associate Professor Lauren Ayton is the Head of the Vision Optimisation Unit at the University of Melbourne, and a Principal Research Fellow at the Centre for Eye Research Australia. With Dr Tom Edwards, Lauren co-leads the VENTURE registry, which is aiming to collect clinical and genetic information on people living with inherited retinal disease. She is an investigator on several industry-sponsored clinical trials, and also runs a number of investigator-initiated research studies.
