Ed was appointed to the Retina Australia Board as a Director and Chair of the Finance, Audit, and Risk (FAR) Committee in February 2023. He is an accomplished Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary with over 20 years of experience in accounting and finance.
He has a strong track record for building cohesive teams and developing best practice finance functions in both large global corporates and SMEs alike and is committed to supporting Retina Australia in streamlining its financial operations and achieving its broader growth aspirations and fund-raising efforts.
He currently serves as Group Chief Financial Officer and as a Board member of Interspan Group, a global engineering design, manufacturing and construction business, and is responsible for all financial and commercial operations across Australia, Ireland, UK, Belgium, Vietnam and Dubai. Prior to joining Interspan, Ed held senior commercial and corporate development roles at NSW Ports, Fletcher Building and Brambles.
Ed holds a Bachelor of Commerce-Accounting Degree from Macquarie University and was elevated to Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia in 2016.
