Retina Australia is delighted to announce the Research Grant Recipients for 2023. This year, Retina Australia has provided over $115,000 in funding to two projects: 

Establishing novel AAV gene editing for Usher Syndrome

Grant awarded – $55,774

Using RNA-silencing to tackle neuroinflammation in retinal degeneration

Grant awarded – $59,869
